Chiropractic
Chiropractic care at SALAS is personalized to meet the unique needs of each individual. Our chiropractors use a variety of techniques, including gentle manual adjustments and precise mobilizations, always applied with care to ensure a comfortable, pain-free experience.
When beneficial, we incorporate soft tissue therapy into your treatment. By addressing tension and dysfunction in muscles and tendons caused by injury, stress, or repetitive strain, soft tissue techniques help break down adhesions, improve mobility, and restore optimal function.
At SALAS, our chiropractors focus on identifying the root cause of your discomfort. We take the time needed to determine the most effective approach to help your body return to its ideal state of balance and performance. When appropriate, customized stretches and exercises are prescribed to enhance movement, support recovery, and promote long-term wellness.
Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy at SALAS is delivered by regulated primary health care professionals with advanced university training in biomechanics and human movement. Our physiotherapists are skilled in assessing, diagnosing, preventing, and treating pain and movement dysfunction to help you move and feel your best.
We offer a comprehensive range of techniques tailored to your individual needs. Treatment may include manual or “hands-on” therapy, personalized exercise prescription, intramuscular stimulation (dry needling), and therapeutic technologies such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, shockwave therapy, and spinal decompression/traction.
At SALAS, our physiotherapy treatments are designed not only to support recovery from injury but also to prevent future issues and enhance overall physical performance. Our goal is to help your body function at its highest potential—so you can return to the activities you love with confidence.
Registered Massage Therapy (RMT)
During your massage therapy session at SALAS, you’ll receive a fully personalized experience designed around your unique goals. Each appointment begins with a focused assessment so we can understand your concerns and create a customized treatment plan tailored to your needs.
Our RMTs draw from a wide range of techniques and therapeutic modalities to provide individualized, one-on-one care—whether you’re seeking tension relief, injury recovery, improved mobility, or restorative relaxation. Every session includes a brief discussion about your history, current concerns, and treatment preferences to ensure your care is always aligned with what your body needs.
At SALAS, our RMT team is dedicated to helping you feel your best, supporting your wellness journey, and enhancing your overall function.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture at SALAS supports your body’s natural self-healing abilities by stimulating specific points with fine, sterile needles. When beneficial, techniques such as gentle pressure, heat, or electrical stimulation may be incorporated to enhance therapeutic effects. Our acupuncture team is here to guide you on your wellness journey with safe, effective, and personalized care.
During your session, we focus on stimulating pathways known as meridians to help restore balance throughout the body. By activating these pathways, acupuncture can help reduce pain, improve sleep, support healthy digestion, and enhance overall well-being.
At SALAS, our acupuncture practitioners are dedicated to helping you feel your best—one session, one step, and one moment of healing at a time.

Our counsellors provide one-on-one, confidential care using evidence-based approaches suited to your unique situation—whether you’re navigating stress, anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, or personal growth. Kinesiologists at SALAS use exercise and movement science to promote health, prevent and manage injuries, support rehabilitation, and optimize physical performance. As experts in human movement, kinesiologists apply research-backed techniques to offer movement as medicine—providing hands-on, personalized care for anyone with health, recovery, or fitness goals.
Physical activity refers to any movement produced by the skeletal muscles that requires energy—essentially, everything from daily tasks to recreational activities. Exercise is a specific type of physical activity that is planned, structured, and purposeful, designed to improve or maintain physical fitness. Research shows that both physical activity and targeted exercise play a vital role in supporting long-term health and well-being.
Kinesiologists work with individuals of all ages and abilities across a range of settings to help them move better, feel stronger, and achieve their wellness goals. At SALAS, our team is here to guide you every step of the way.
Please be advised that direct billing is NOT available for Kinesiology treatments.

Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral Therapy at SALAS is rooted in nervous system science and guided by neuroaffirming values. This gentle, hands-on approach works with the body’s natural rhythms to help release held tension, support regulation of the nervous system, and encourage the body’s ability to return to a state of balance.
Often used alongside other therapeutic modalities such as chiropractic, massage therapy, and primitive reflex integration, Craniosacral Therapy can complement ongoing care by promoting relaxation, improving body awareness, and supporting overall well-being.
