Chiropractic care involves the use of different techniques depending upon what is needed for each specific patient. Our chiropractors approach manual manipulation, and mobilizations with care and use a technique that is tailored for you for a pain free experience. When suitable, we introduce soft tissue manipulation during our chiropractic care; taking the time to work on muscles and tendons strained from injury, stress, or repetitive activities. Soft tissue manipulation can help to breakdown adhesions, improve range of motion and restore functionality.

Our team of chiropractors are looking for the root cause of any pain or condition, and we take our time to find the appropriate avenue to get your body back to a state of ideal functionality. When appropriate, stretches and exercises will be prescribed to get your body moving better!

Kinesiologists apply exercise and movement science to promote health and well-being; prevent, manage, and rehabilitate injuries; treat illness and chronic disease; restore function; and optimize human performance in the workplace, clinical settings, sports, and fitness. Kinesiologists are the only human movement specialists who use science and research to offer movement as medicine, to any person with a health or fitness goal who wants a hands-on, personalized approach.

Physical activity is a movement performed by skeletal muscles that requires energy. In other words, any movement we do is, in fact, physical activity. Exercise, however, is planned, structured, repetitive, and intentional movement designed to improve or maintain physical fitness. Exercise is a subcategory of physical activity. Research provides significant evidence that all physical activity contributes positively to health and well-being.

Kinesiologists work with people of all ages and physical abilities, in many settings, to help them achieve their health and wellness goals. Our Kinesiologist is currently CONTACT TO BOOK, as they will arrange a local gym or rec center to help you achieve your goals. Call and speak with our front desk for any Kinesiology inquiries.

Alison Lumley a highly trained Acupuncturist with a special focus on Women’s Health, Acupuncture for Fertility, and Cosmetic Acupuncture.

Alison began her acupuncture training in 2002 at the Academy of Oriental Medicine in Austin, Texas (AOMA). She was led to the field after having experienced, on her own path to healing, the holistic approach of a homeopathic doctor. The belief that the body has its own innate ability to heal itself, resonated with her, and it also happens to be one of the foundational beliefs of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

Another tenet from TCM that she easily espoused is the theory that often, if not always, the mind/spirit is implicated in physical illness. It is said that the advanced TCM practitioner treats the spirit first and the physical body next.

Alison has spent five years of her acupuncture career (four years at the Texas Center for Reproductive Acupuncture in Austin and one year at Yinstill Reproductive Wellness in Vancouver) helping men and women with fertility issues. She is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist in the United States (NCCAOM) and a registered acupuncturist in Canada (CTCMA). A treatment with Alison includes acupuncture, cupping, and an optional scalp massage at the end of the session.
